Williamson County schools scored an average composite ACT score of 23.4, the highest score Williamson County schools have achieved to date.
Tennessee is one of nine states that requires its students to take the ACT, a test used to assess students’ college and career readiness.
Brentwood High School topped county high schools with an average composite score of 25.4, a 0.3 increase since last year.
For years, the schools in Tennessee were considered to be behind those of a lot of states, but I know that since only 9 states require ACT tests from high school students, the rest of the states don’t have a true average. Williamson county schools in particular seem to be far ahead of the public schools in almost all states, based on what the parents who have relocated here.
