Murfreesboro homes sales for August were still strong with 202 homes sold and 217 homes compared to August of 2010 with 155 Murfreesboro home sales, a 30 percent increase.  Murfreesboro has consistently been one of the most active real estate communities in the Nashville area. Murfreesboro has a unique position as the home of the largest university in the state, and the jobs to support the students help a strong local real estate market.
