Nashville home sales increase 15.5 percent in June compared to 2009.
2,416 homes sold in the month of June, compared to 2091 Nashville homes sold in June of 2009, according to figures provided by the Greater Nashville Association of REALTORS®. Nashville home sales in the second quarter we us 24.7 percent compared to 2009 with 6831 closings compared to 5478 in 2009. Year to date Nashville home sales are us 19.3 percent compared to 2009, with 11,023 closings compared to 9240 in 2009.
The median residential price for a single-family Nashville home was up 2 percent compared to June of 2009 at $181,312 compared to $177,700.
There were 1,976 sales pending at the end of June, compared with 2,141 pending sales at this time last year. The average number of days on the market for a single-family home was 83 days.
Inventory at the end of June was 23,640, down slightly from 24,552 in June 2009.
