Freddie Mac is expecting this spring home sales to be the best for home sales since 2007. Prices of homes have been rising and are expected to continue to rise for the next few years as the most of the distressed properties are now sold and new construction is considerably behind the demand. Interest rates continue to remain at decades low levels and the overall economy is slowly improving. All of these factors make for a strong housing market.
