Forrest Crossing is a Franklin neighborhood with homes priced between $200,000 and $450,000 and in size from 1400 square feet to over 4000 square feet. Forrest Crossing was named after Bedford Forrest, one of the main participants in the battle of Franklin, and it explaing the spelling. Built along a golf course and the Harpeth river, some of the homes in Forrest Crossing have a great view. The location makes for easy access to I-65 at highway 96 so commuting the 20 miles to downtown Nashville or traveling to the Airport is usually a reasonable period of time. The schools that service Forrest Crossing are concidered some of the better public schools in middle Tennessee.
People who like Forrest Crossing should also consider Polk Place, Dallas Downs and Sullivan farms. All are in the same area and same price range, and most were built in the mid 1990′s to early 2000′s. You get a lot of homes for your money compared to the new homes in Ladd Park or Mckays Mill.
