Nashville luxury homes had been improving every month, but October was slower than the same month last year. I suspect it had to do with the long winter cold winter that delayed the start of construction on any new homes scheduled to be built this year. If November showing an increase, that I can say I was right, if now, then the market for million dollar homes in Nashville may be changing.

No longer just a sleepy little town outside of Nashville with historic homes and battlefields, Franklin now has one of the fastest growing commercial areas in Tennessee in Cool Springs. With millions of square feet of occupied office space along the east side of I-65, thousands of well paid home owners are looking to live close to work. It’s very convenient that the Williamson county schools are rated the best in the state.

It’s also a blessing to have the best shopping and dining in all of Tennessee in the Cool Springs mall area that’s located on the east side of Franklin along I-65. You rarely have a need to drive to downtown Nashville now, unless you want to attend a Titans or Predators game.

If commuting to Nashville is part of your selection for a home, be aware that some of these neighborhoods are on the west side of Franklin, which will increase your driving time compared to homes on the east side of I-65.
