The average price of homes sold was $177,947 and the average size of homes sold was 2085 square feet. The average days on market was an extremely low 79 days and 225 homes are currently pending. In my opinion, the Murfreesboro real estate market is moving quickly to a sellers market.

Franklin Homes Sales for June 2011 – It may surprise you to find out that once again the average price of Franklin homes is up on a yearly comparison of June 2011 and June 2010. The average sales price of Franklin homes sold in June of 2011 was $415,770, compared to $403,998 for June of last year. I know that if you’ve read this blog in the past, this was entirely predictable and has been going on for months. Does that mean you can’t find a good deal on a Franklin home? Of course not, but the fact is that a lot of the companies based out of Cool Springs and Brentwood are healthcare companies, and they haven’t had the same economic issues that most other companies have had. As a result, unemployment in Williamson county is always several points below the state and national averages, which is very good for the housing market. On top of that, Williamson county schools are traditionally the states best, and several are nationally ranked by many prestegious ranking organizations. Franklin is just all around a great place to live.
